Plum Jam

Hi Dears! :)
Do You have a garden? We do have, and there's a plum tree in it with lots of bushes and flowers. But that's the only tree with fruits. And these times we have more than enough plums , completely bio, so it was time for me to make some jar of jams. :)
I added some cinnamon to it, to enhance the flavor, and I should say that these are really tasty. If You have more fruits with You that You can eat by themselves, You should give it a try to make jam. You can do that in 30 minutes.

Ingredients:

  • 1,5 kg of plums
  • 200 g of sugar
  • 1 package of jam gelling (I used Haas Quittin)
  • 1 tbsp of cinnamon
  • 1 tsp of citric acid

Preparation:

1. Cut the plums, take out the cores.

2. Add the gelling and boil it up, while You stir it with a wooden spoon.

3. Add the sugar, citric acid and the cinnamon as well, and boil it again.

4. Wait some minutes , to let it cool down a bit, then pour it to jars.

5. Close the jars and put them up side down.
In 30 minutes they are ready, and You can put them to the chamber. :) You should eat them in a year.

Enjoy! :)
